RALEIGH, N.C. — Axon, powered by ProMach, will showcase at the 2013 International Dairy Show, November 3-6, the Aurora SS mandrel-style shrink film applicator. The Aurora SS can apply labels, tamper evident bands and multipacks at up to 300BPM with a film layflat width range of 50 to 200mm. (Axon Booth #1924)
The Aurora SS is a design and ergonomic focused machine that offers a superior user-friendly operation. It features a solid, four-by-four-inch tubular cantilevered frame for easy cleanup and maintenance. An aesthetic polycarbonate enclosure along with the Category 3 Safety Interlock system allows for full visibility of the container and film path while ensuring a safe operation. When opening the front door, operators will find a highly visual machine instructions guide and color-coded, tool-less adjustment knobs that provide unmatched simplicity to changeover procedures.
“The Aurora SS is a great fit for the dairy industry,” said Ed Farley, Axon Sales Director. “It’s clean, cantilevered design and heavy duty stainless steel tubular body ensures durability and easy maintenance, plus all the expected benefits of our Aurora Series’ automation and controls platform.”
All Aurora machines are standard equipped with Packaging Machinery Language (PackML), modular EtherNet/IP control platform from Rockwell Automation, recipe functionality, bilingual operation, electric height adjustment, and Axon’s performance guarantee. Axon also offers numerous custom options for Aurora units. This means customers only pay for the features most beneficial to their unique environment.
