ATHENS, Georgia — Fowler Products, powered by ProMach, has named Jason McCormick as its projects and operations manager. McCormick, who joined Fowler in 2009, was most recently the company’s customer service manager. McCormick is now responsible for project management and manufacturing: machining, fabrication, electrical, shipping, and plant maintenance.
“Projects and operations have become a much more challenging responsibility at Fowler over the last several years,” said President and General Manager Don Cotney. ”The growth of the company has contributed to this challenge as has the nature of the projects, which now often involve final assembly for factory acceptance testing of multi-machine systems which include rinsing, filling, capping, and cap handling and cap conveying. McCormick replaces John Oliaro, who moved to Federal Manufacturing, a ProMach business, to become operations manager. From 2002 to 2009, McCormick held increasingly responsible positions at Reliance Electric. He is a 2002 graduate of the University of Georgia, having earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Engineering with emphasis on mechanical systems. He returned to the University of Georgia for his graduate education receiving an MBA in 2005 from the Terry College of Business.
