CINCINNATI, Ohio – ProMach, a leader in packaging machinery solutions, announced today that Andy Moeder has been named as the company’s new Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Moeder will lead the company's financial strategy for long-term profitability and provide financial guidance to support continued growth. He will also oversee the company-wide finance and accounting teams to strengthen the performance of ProMach and their numerous product brands.
“We are proud to promote Andy Moeder as our next CFO,” said Mark Anderson, President and CEO of ProMach. “He has been instrumental in ProMach’s growth over the five years he has been with us, and his strong financial leadership is a big a reason we’ve been able to more than double our revenue in that time frame. His poise, direction, and attention to detail make him a great business partner and his proven track record speaks for itself, as he quickly became an indispensable part of our finance organization.”
Mr. Moeder has served ProMach in various financial roles, most recently as Vice President, Finance & Treasurer. He joined ProMach in 2012 from global publishing company Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, where he served in FP&A and Internal Audit leadership roles, and started his career providing accounting and auditing consulting services with Grant Thornton. Mr. Moeder earned his B.S. in Accounting/Finance and his M.B.A. from the University of Dayton, and he is a Certified Public Accountant.
Mr. Moeder will be replacing outgoing CFO William Schult. Mr. Schult’s decision to step down was carefully planned by him, and he will provide an orderly transition to Mr. Moeder over the next several months. Once the transition is completed, Mr. Schult may stay with the company in a more specialized role for a period of time. “I’m grateful for everything Bill Schult has done to transform ProMach since he started here in 2005,” added Mr. Anderson. “He helped establish our structure and business model, playing a pivotal role in nearly 30 acquisitions, establishing our global operations, and building an exceptional finance organization with talented people like Andy who can step up into our next wave of leadership. I’m fortunate to get to work with people as talented as Bill and Andy and we wish Bill all the best in his future endeavors.”
